Dr A K Sen Gupta is a known Teacher, Researcher and Thinker in the parlance of Higher Education in India. A Ph.D. in Commerce, he is the Founder & Convener of Higher Education Forum (HEF), the largest community in the space of Higher Education in India with more than 3,500 members. This is the largest think tank for Higher Education in India. HEF is involved in a number of capacity building activities for two of most important stakeholders of education namely, Students and Teachers.
Currently he is the Founding Director of SIES School of Learning and Leadership Development (SIESSLLD) and Mentor of SIESCOMS / SIESSBS.
Some of his past assignments include Professor & Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai, one of top business schools in the country, Director & Mentor, SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS), Navi Mumbai, World Bank Consultant and instrumental in setting up National Banking College (NBC) as the apex banking training & research institute for Sub-Saharan English speaking Africa in Ghana, Africa and Professor at National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune, India. He started his career as a Banker with Punjab National Bank and worked there for more than a decade in various Managerial Capacities.
Dr Sen Gupta is an avid researcher & writer with 6 books to his credit and more than 50 research articles in National and International Journals
A passionate human resource professional associated with SIES family since July 2014. Working towards capacity building and competency enhancement for teaching staff, non-teaching staff, students, and other stakeholders.
Worked for 17 years in Shipping and Logistics company as Corporate HR role and Business HR. Instrumental in development of web-based HR software, implementing Graduate Trainee Scheme, involved in competency-based HR processes and other functions of selection, training &development, and people management.
Passionate towards social service and is associated with foundations working towards development of society in the sphere of education and social areas.
Sharanya Nair is a Mathematics graduate with a Master’s in Business Administration specialising in Human Resource Management. Academically good, proof of her being the topper at her school and college examinations, Along with being awarded the Best Student Award, Sharanya had the opportunity to publish an article in "TIMES NIE(Times Newspaper in Education Program)” during her high school days. She is an avid reader and a passionate writer, which is also one of the reasons for the stimulus to write for school magazines. Inquisitive about the things around her, gave the impetus to be part of various debates and declamation.
Her sincerity, honesty and discipline have added value to her endeavours in education, making it possible for sharanya to rejoice in her academic expedition.
